Phil worked in public housing and Homeless for 14 years before stepping into the Private sector. Initially Phil set up Aria residential a Belfast based letting and Estate Agency specializing in investment property before CO- Founding CD Fairfield with Tom in 2012.
Phil acted as a representative of Countrywide PLC in Northern Ireland in relation to their LPA receivership activity in the province, representing the interests of several of the major high street lenders. Phil is the Managing Director and oversees the day-to-day operation of the company and has a passion for Digital Marketing.
Tom has worked in the property and financial services industries since 2006. He holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice qualification from the IFS School of Finance ( 2008 ). Since then he has run a successful property sourcing and financial services business, primarily assisting landlords. He is one of the founding partners of CD Fairfield ( since 2012 ).
His day to day role is oversight of the regulated advice and Client Onboarding processes across the brands. His specialism is in advising portfolio Landlords with complex debt/equity issues and running the client services portion of the business. Tom is an active networker and is keen to hear from other businesses that may have an interest in collaboration.
Mark holds an undergraduate first-class degree in Accounting (BSc) from Queens University Belfast and a master’s degree with distinction from the University of Ulster in Business Improvement and Innovation (MSc). Mark has also obtained the CPPI and CPCI insolvency qualifications from BPP University and holds a certificate as an accredited member of the Institute of Money Advice (IMA).
Mark has previously worked for one of the UK’s largest accountancy firms for 9 years as was a key component in their growth into one of the UK market leaders in formal debt solutions. Mark has worked for CD Fairfield since November 2018 overseeing the negative equity and formal debt practices. Mark has a passion for obtaining the best outcome for clients and he ensures his vision is shared by the whole team at CD Fairfield Capital.
Colm is a partially qualified ACCA accountant. Colm initially began his insolvency career at Grant Thornton LLP in 2008, quickly progressing to a management position before becoming an Insolvency Manager at JT Maxwell Ltd. Colm has been with CD Fairfield Capital since 2019. In his role as Insolvency Manager, he oversees the delivery of successful outcomes for our clients efficiently.
Linda studied combined social and behavioral sciences and counselling with Ulster University and has a good understanding of how normal changes in circumstances impact on clients and households.
She has worked for Grant Thornton, Recovery & Reorganization Department from 2004 when they became market leader in UK Insolvency. Linda role as NI Client Service Manager assisted and supported around 33% of all NI clients who choose an IVA to reach a successful solution with their creditors – she joined CD Fairfield Capital in 2019 and acts as the Voluntary sector development manager
Linda also is Specialist Support Debt Practitioner with AdviceNI and Moderated Debt Advice Standards in NI as part of Recognising Excellence for Money Advice Service.
